Today was Aki's birthday, and instead of a cake we all made some Takoyaki. Takoyaki is basically a fried ball filled with octopus, cheese, etc. The "etc" can be anything, really.  Posted by Picasa

Hell yeah! The stuff's delicious, and Osaka is well known for it. I have to buy one of those Takoyaki makers to take back home with me.

Very nice. I think "Oishi's" sells frozen takoyaki. I think some of the Chinese or Korean supermarkets carry that as well.
